PhD for Trained Dentists Program

This program embellishes the UIC Advanced Education in Dental Specialty Programs’ curriculum with foundational graduate level oral sciences education and engages students/residents in primary research activities.

Post-doctoral Training

UIC COD investigators continuously recruit talented DMD/PhD (or equivalent) individuals to participate in ongoing funded research programs. The program offers individualized career development planning will prepare each fellow for a successful research career.

Undergraduate Research

DMD students and Undergraduate students are encouraged to participate in research through a.) summer research fellowships, b.) research volunteers and Honors college capstone project, c.) DMD year 4 elective, and d.) Clinic and Research Day presentations.
