About
Richard Monahan received his DDS from Northwestern University and his MS from the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He completed his JD at Loyola University Law School. He currently serves as department head of Oral Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences and as Director of Radiology at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. Dr. Monahan is on the faculty of Northwestern University and has been on the medical staff of Shriners Hospital for Children since 2012. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and lectures nationally/internationally on diagnostic imaging.
