About
Dr. Yana Nedvetsky received her dental degree from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio were she was awarded the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, and Oral Radiology. She then went on to obtain multiple certificates at different institutions such as oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, and advanced surgery, to name a few. She joined the Department of Orthodontics at the UIC College of Dentistry as an adjunct clinical assistant professor in 2007 and continues to teach. Dr. Nedvetsky currently serves as the chairwoman of the bylaws committee in the Chicago Dental Forum, and has served as the chair of the hospitality committee in the Academy of Operative Dentistry.
Scholarly interests
Bone biology, biology of orthodontic tooth movement, and biology of bone grafting.
