About
Following graduation from my periodontal program I joined my father’s periodontal practice part-time and accepted a full-time position on the faculty at Loyola University College of Dentistry where I taught for 5 years until they closed the dental school in 1993. I was contacted by UIC College of Dentistry at that time and accepted a part-time teaching position in periodontics one day per week and have been here ever since. Currently I spend a half day with our residents and the other half with the UG students. I am full-time in clinical periodontal practice on the NW side of Chicago.
I am very dedicated to organized dentistry and have served as president of the Illinois Society of Periodontists, NW Side branch of the Chicago Dental Society, The Progressive Club, The Odontographic Society of Chicago and of the Chicago Dental Society in 2022. I am a member of OKU, The International College of Dentist and The American College of Dentists. I have served on the house of delegates for the ISDS as well as the ADA. I volunteer for Dental Lifeline Network’s Donated Dental Services Program and at the Chicago Dental Society Foundation’s dental clinic.
