About
Dr. Oubaidin is a board-certified orthodontic specialist dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. She earned her Master’s degree in Oral Sciences along with a specialty certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Illinois Chicago, where she now enjoys teaching and supervising residents in the postgraduate orthodontic clinic. She also serves as the course director for multiple orthodontic courses, sharing her knowledge and passion with the next generation of specialists.
Dr. Oubaidin is experienced in a wide range of orthodontic treatments tailored to each patient’s needs, including early/interceptive care for children, clear aligner therapy, self-ligating systems, conventional braces, interdisciplinary cases, and complex surgical orthodontics. She is committed to using the best available techniques to provide comfortable, effective, and personalized care.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Oubaidin is passionate about advancing the field of orthodontics through research in areas such as 3D imaging, bone biology, and micro-CT technology. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, and she has received multiple honors, including the RAA and two OFDFA awards from the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation (AAOF).
She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Illinois Society of Orthodontists, the Society of Educators, and the Midwestern Society of Orthodontists. Dr. O looks forward to partnering with you on your journey to a confident, healthy smile.
Scholarly interests
CBCT, Invisalign, multi-disciplinary treatment, early orthodontic intervention, orthodontic education at the undergraduate and post-graduate level.
