About
Dr. Ayas Makki, graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, he served as class president, involved in many research projects and received an award of Appreciation from University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry for exceptional job performance and dedication to the Department of Orthodontics, and Frances Best Matkins Award in recognition of outstanding leadership skills and academic excellence.
He went on to further his dental education by accepting an orthodontic residency position at the Department of Orthodontics at University of Illinois at Chicago when he graduated with honor and received the Best Resident Award. In 2021, he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Makki is involved in organized dentistry and orthodontics and holds memberships with many associations, including:

- Illinois Society of Orthodontics
- Chicago Dental Society
In his free time, Dr. Makki enjoys traveling, playing soccer, playing and composing music.
