About

Kasey Leung received her B.S. in Physics from Davidson College and gained biomedical research experience throughout her undergraduate career, including studying oral pain therapeutics under Dr. Kenneth Hargreaves at UT Health San Antonio. She is currently interested in biomaterials and bioengineering for clinical applications. Kasey won Best Dental or Dual Doctoral Student Presentation in Original Research at UIC COD 2021 Clinic and Research Day and will be presenting her work at the 2022 AADOCR SCADA Competition as a representative for UIC COD. She is also President of the Student Research Group and is dedicated to creating a strong research community at the College of Dentistry.
