About
Dr. Halasa was born and raised in Amman, Jordan. She earned her DDS in 2019 from the University of Jordan (UoJ) with honors, and had been awarded a merit-based full scholarship.
During this time, Dr. Halasa served as the nationwide president of the Jordanian Association of Dental Students (JADS), as well as Middle East scientific officer with the International Association of Dental Students (IADS), and took part in dental education programs in India & Indonesia.
Before joining this program in 2022, Dr. Halasa was a part-time research assistant at the Department of Prosthodontics at UoJ, working on multiple research projects, and a full time dentist in private practice.
Dr. Halasa aspires for a career in education and research. In her free time, she enjoys crossfit, yoga, and painting.
