Dr. Bertagna was born and raised in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago attending St. Viator High School in Arlington Heights. He received his baccalaureate degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, after which he completed his undergraduate dental training at The University of Illinois at Chicago's College of Dentistry where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honors Society. He was exceedingly honored and proud to match into the dual degree OMS training program at his home institution. His clinical interests include dentoalveolar surgery, implantology, pre-prosthetic surgery, oral medicine, orthognathic surgery, outpatient anesthesia and TMJ surgery. Dr. Bertagna is a member of The Shedd Aquarium Auxiliary Board and The St. Viator High School Alumni Board.
