December 16, 2022 – The UIC Department of Orthodontics hosted a holiday party with a special presentation by Dr. Budi Kusnoto celebrating the Indonesia culture. Dean Susan Rowan kicked off the event by cutting the Rice Volcano which is a symbolic icon of Indonesia cuisine. Dr. Kusnoto presented the history, demography, geography, religions, languages, food, music and many unique culture elements of Indonesia. The Celebration of Indonesia Culture event is another successful event of the Unity In Diversity Series initiated by the UIC Department of Orthodontics. We value the unique cultures of the diverse faculty and residents body of the Department and look forward to more opportunities to learn and appreciate each other.
