Orthodontic residents winning special awards on COD Clinic and Research Day 2020
Congratulations to Drs. Ayas Makki and Sibel Altun for receiving the Best Residents Award during the UIC College of Dentistry 33rd Clinic and Research Day on March 5, 2020.
Dr. Makki's presenting his research titled “Assessment of HLDI scoring methods and their effect on orthodontic Medicaid approval/denial rates” to the judges during the UIC College of Dentistry 33rd Clinic & Research Day 2020.
Dr. Ayas Makki won the Best Resident Award in Population Health Science.
Dr. Sibel Altun presenting her research titled, “Characterization of Secretory microRNA-101, 123, -143, -145, -223 in Gingival Crevicular Fluid During Orthodontic Tooth Movement”. She won the Best Resident Award in Clinical Translational Science during the UIC College of Dentistry Clinic & Research Day 2020.
