Dr. Michael Miloro, professor and head of oral and maxillofacial surgery was awarded the prestigious 2023 Donald B. Osbon Award for Outstanding Educator in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
The award is presented to a respected educator with a reputation for being an outstanding clinician with the highest standing morals and ideals.
Dr. Nicholas Callahan, associate professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery was awarded the coveted 2023 Faculty Educator Development Award (FEDA). The award is presented to promising young oral and maxillofacial surgeons to choose a career in academia and to continue their higher education career.
Both awards were presented at the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) 105th Annual Meeting and Scientific Sessions in San Diego, CA.
