Dr. Ivan Zhang to receive the Dr. Indru C. Punwani Graduate Student Research Award

The Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists (ISPD) recently selected Dr. Ivan Zhang [of the UIC College of Dentistry] and Dr. Allison Buford [of the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago] to receive the Dr. Indru C. Punwani Graduate Student Research Award, which serves to honor Dr. Punwani and his dedication to the dynamic field of pediatric dentistry. Dr. Punwani is the retired Professor and Department Head of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the College and is currently Professor Emeritus in the Department.
