Dr. Anne George selected for the 2021 Class of the American Association of Dental Research (AARD) Fellows

Dr. Anne George, the Dr. Allan G. Brodie Endowed Professor and Professor of Oral Biology, has been recently selected for the 2021 class of the American Association of Dental Research (AARD) Fellows. She leads a team of research specialists and mentors students in the Brodie Tooth Development Genetics & Regenerative Medicine Research Laboratory at the UIC College of Dentistry.

 

The AADR Fellows Program is designed to recognize leaders who have achieved research excellence and have served AADR throughout their careers. Accomplishments and letters of support are thoroughly reviewed to establish that nominees meet the stringent criteria expected of an AADR Fellow.

 

In 2018 Dr. Anne George was selected as a UIC University Scholar and since then, Dr. Anne George has received the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) Distinguished Scientist Award in 2020 for Basic Research in Biological Mineralization. Dr. Anne George plays an instrumental role at the College of Dentistry and is recognized for such a prestigious award. Congratulations Dr George!
