SAVE THE DATE for UIC School of Public Health Distinguished Lecture Fall 2021

On behalf of the SPH Committee on Research, that Dr. Nicholas Freudenberg, Distinguished Professor of Public Health at City University of New York School of Public Health and Director of the CUNY Urban Food Policy Institute, will be the school's Distinguished Lecturer for the upcoming academic year. Dr. Freudenberg will be speaking about the effects of corporate practices on health (aka commercial determinants of health) as addressed in his recent book, At What Cost: Modern Capitalism and the Future of Health.

 

Dr. Freudenberg's lecture will be Noon - 1 pm on Thursday, October 14th. Further details, including additional opportunities to interact with Dr. Freudenberg during his visit, will be forthcoming.
