Clinical Activities and Specialties

Dr. Yang maintains a private practice at UIC in the Faculty Dental Practice.  She believes that interdisciplinary treatment planning, precise operation and advanced materials and technology provide the best comprehensive patient-centered care.

Research Interests

Dr. Yang’s research interests include adhesive dentistry including dentin and ceramic bonding, bio-active materials for caries prevention, and the application of nano-technology to the development of dental materials.  She has published more than 30 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and at international congresses.  She has served as a reviewer for Biomaterials, Journal of Dental Research, Acta Biomaterialia, Dental Materials, Journal of Dentistry, and the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.
