Office for Clinical Affairs
The Office for Clinical Affairs has responsibility for the College of Dentistry clinical operations, including patient care delivery, coding for billable dental procedures, AxiUm management, Group Practice fiscal clerk and patient registration staffing. The Clinical Affairs team works closely with all of the College’s Academic Departments, and the Office of Research to ensure and enable our dental clinics to provide the highest quality oral health care services to a diverse group of patients in a professional, caring, efficient, and safe environment. Clinical Affairs personnel also manage policies to ensure the highest standards and performance in patient information privacy, and satisfaction.
Division of Prevention and Public Health Sciences
The Division of Prevention and Public Health Sciences is responsible for the planning and execution of clinical and non-clinical community-based extramural experiences and public health coursework for dental students. Our goal is to prepare an oral health care workforce that is competent and committed to addressing the oral health needs of vulnerable and underserved populations and to play its part in eliminating health disparities.
Office of Research
UIC College of Dentistry is an internationally recognized leader in craniofacial and oral health research. Our researchers lead and collaborate in basic scientific investigations and translational studies that are bettering oral health through transformative innovation.
