About
Dr. Tan received his Certificate and MS in Prosthodontics from Northwestern University. He is currently Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at UIC College of Dentistry. He is actively involved in supervising patient care provided by dental students in the Predoctoral Group Practice Clinic as well as in the Implant and Innovations Center. His teaching responsibilities also included facilitating in small group learning sessions of 3rd year dental students and instructing in preclinical and didactic courses.
Dr. Tan was the first recipient of the Junior Faculty Award from the American Dental Education Association (ADEA). This award was created by the ADEA Council of Students to recognize outstanding junior faculty who demonstrate excellence in teaching, research and service, and a commitment to dental education.

- MS in Prosthodontics from Northwestern University
