Social Work Services
Intro
Our social work team is made up of licensed social workers and interns from the UIC Jane Addams School of Social Work. We are dedicated to supporting patients and families in the UIC Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Inclusive Care Clinic.
Social work isn’t about “something being wrong”— it’s about helping families overcome barriers and access the care they deserve. In many ways, social workers act as care coordinators, working closely with your dental team to make sure each patient receives compassionate, comprehensive support. The social work team is here to support patients and families beyond the dental chair. We understand that life circumstances can affect your ability to get care—and we’re here to help.
