After earning his Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University and completing 3-year specialty residency in advanced prosthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Dr. Jun Soo Shin wished to further pursue education in Oral Sciences. Throughout the Ph.D program in Oral Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Dr. Shin plans to explore the role of Collagen VI in TMJ heath and disease.
