About
Dr. Alex Sarpong was born and raised in Kumasi, Ghana and received his Bachelor's degree in Human Biology and a BDS degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. Dr. Sarpong joined the Advanced Standing program at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he received his DMD degree and upon graduation, was inducted into the Sigma Chapter of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Sarpong decided to pursue the additional training in Prosthodontics at UIC, with the drive to provide quality innovative care and treatment to patients with complex restorative and esthetic needs.
Dr. Sarpong loves playing piano during his leisure time and is a session keyboardist. He works as a freelance studio engineer recording, producing, and mixing music. Dr. Sarpong also enjoys taking nature walks, road trips, and watching architectural docuseries.
