UIC Orthodontics to MSO July 2020 – March 2021
Greetings from University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Department of Orthodontics! We have exciting developments to share
with our colleagues. Our residents, staff, and faculty has been showing incredible resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In May 2021, an outstanding cohort of residents will graduate from our program continuing the long tradition of excellence in orthodontics. Our new class (Class of 2024) of residents will be joining us on July 1st! We look forward to warmly welcoming them to Chicago. Two outstanding faculty members, Dr. Maysaa Oubaidin and Dr. Min Kyeong “Irene” Lee, joined our department. Our faculty and residents received numerous national distinguish scholarships, awards, grants and external funding. We have had a productive year doing high quality research and publications. We are thankful to the AAOF, the Alumni Association and other sponsors for supporting faculty and residents to further science and move our profession forward.
