UIC Department of Orthodontics Attends AAO Annual Session in Chicago April 22 – 24, 2023
The UIC Department of Orthodontics held successful presentations at their booth at the AAO Annual Session in Chicago from April 22 to 24, 2023. This is the first time in history, an exhibitor from the academic and scientific sector presented at the AAO Annual Session. They represented the College of Dentistry and showcased their latest innovative research, distinguished residential program, work with developing the Specialty Node of the National Dental Practice-Based Research, CE courses, preceptorship and externship programs and more. The booth attracted hundreds of attendees and vendors from around the world. In addition, several faculty and alumni from the UIC Department of Orthodontics presented their impressive achievements in education, clinical care and research during the AAO Innovation Pavilion FRED Talks.
As part of the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry, the Department of Orthodontics takes great pride in educating the future leaders in their profession as well as leaders in innovation and technology, and they will continue to embrace the vision to provide Better Oral Health Through Transformative Innovation.
