Stephanie Schreiber: Virtual Reality (VR) Program of Dental Implant Surgery: Student Perception
Stephanie Schreiber and team presented on March 12th 2021 at the American Dental Education Association Conference. The research covered how students perceived Virtual Reality - a program for a simulation program of dental implant placement. Stephanie Schreiber and her team designed a dental implant program that utilized Oculus. A survey was given to students before and after trying the program which was followed by a focus group discussion. The students had a positive outlook for this resource which can be used in the future for particular topics such as Endodontics, station exams, and emergency clinical situations.
