Congratulations to Dr. Maysaa Oubaidin, Clinical Assistant Professor of the UIC Department of Orthodontics, for being appointed as the Associate Director of Post Graduate Orthodontics.
Landing her new role at UIC as Associate Director of Post Graduate Orthodontics, Dr. Oubaidin is very excited about this opportunity and look forward to continuing to build upon the excellent work the UIC Orthodontics team has begun.
Dr. Maysaa Oubaidin grew up in Aleppo, Syria. She earned her DDS degree from University of Aleppo College of Dental Medicine. She received her MS Oral Sciences and Orthodontic specialty certificate from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. She worked in multiple research areas including CBCT, accelerating orthodontic tooth movement, bone biology, and microCT. Dr. Oubaidin is very honored to be offered this position as Associate Director of Post Graduate Orthodontics and committed to be a contributing member of this impressive institution.
