Dr. Maria Therese Galang-Boquiren Leads Workshop at ATS International Conference
On May 16, Dr. Maria Therese Galang-Boquiren, professor of orthodontics and director of predoctoral orthodontics, was among a select group of invited experts to lead a full-day workshop at the American Thoracic Society (ATS) International Conference held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.
The ATS is a leading global professional society with more than 20,000 members dedicated to advancing respiratory health, critical care and sleep-related breathing disorders. As one of only a few dentists featured on the program, Dr. Galang-Boquiren joined prominent physician leaders in the field to highlight the expanding role of dental sleep medicine while proudly representing UIC on an international stage.
