Congratulations to Evan Fry who was named as the First Runner-Up for the 2020 ADA Health Literacy in Dentistry Contest

The American Dental Association has announced the winners of the 2020 Health Literacy in Dentistry Essay Contest on the topic, Why Your Dentist Wants You to Get the HPV Vaccine.  The winners’ essays were a great demonstration of the ability to provide clear and understandable information to patients and consumers.

Congratulations to our very own Evan Fry, DMD-4, who was named the First Runner-Up for his essay, More Than Teeth: Why Your Dentist Wants You to Get the HPV Vaccine.

Evan said, “I’m honored to have been chosen as First Runner-Up for the 2020 Health Literacy in Dentistry Contest. Submitting an essay for the Contest has been a delightful extracurricular challenge I have enjoyed attempting each year; advancing all the way to First Runner-Up this year is an incredible way to be capping off my final year at the UIC College of Dentistry.”
