SUMMARY:CBCT: An Interactive Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This interactive workshop is designed to help clinicians develop a systematic approach to the interpretation of CBCT scans and strengthen their diagnostic confidence in everyday practice. Normal anatomy, anatomic variations, and radiographic indications of pathology will be illustrated through a series of interactive CBCT cases. Participants will learn a systematic protocol for interpreting 3D datasets that provides the foundation for accurate diagnosis and clinically sound decision-making in oral and maxillofacial imaging. From carotid atheromas to ethmoid osteomas, each case is designed to enhance the participant's ability to recognize findings that may require treatment, further evaluation, or referral. Through guided case review and discussion, attendees will strengthen their diagnostic skills and gain greater confidence in the interpretation of CBCT scans encountered in everyday clinical practice. Learning Objectives: Create a standardized approach to the interpretation of 3D data sets Recognize normal anatomy, variations of normal, and indications of pathology Drive advanced software tools in order to maximize the diagnostic yield This workshop is eligible for 3 CE Credits.
