Join us for the UIC College of Dentistry's 39th Annual Clinic and Research Day (CR Day), a celebration of research, innovation and collaboration across our college community.
CR Day brings together faculty, students and staff to highlight the importance of research in oral health science and oral health sciences, and clinical outcomes. We anticipate over 140 trainees, including dental students, residents, postdoctoral fellows and research associates that will present their work through poster sessions and presentations.

Continuing Education: Eligible for 3 CE credits
Keynote Speaker Presentation Learning Objectives:
- Identify the current scientific evidence supporting the use of dental pulp stem cells (DPSC) for dental tissue regeneration.
- Compare DPSC-based regenerative strategies with conventional treatment approaches for necrotic immature permanent teeth.
- Recognize key steps in a proposed clinical workflow for the application of DPSC in dental pulp regeneration.
Poster Presentations Learning Objectives:
- Discuss current important research questions in oral science and dentistry.
- Describe recent findings in basic and clinical research in the oral sciences.
- Describe new research techniques that are being used to address novel hypotheses in oral health research.
