The UIC College of Dentistry provides both live and online continuing education for practitioners across all specialties to match particular training needs.

The College of Dentistry is proud to offer continuing education courses for dental professionals. Please see below for a listing of current courses; click on each course for more information.

The University of Illinois College of Dentistry is a recognized ADA CERP provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.

Continuing Education in Orthodontics Heading link

Individualized continuing education programs in orthodontics are available for those clinicians who have a serious interest in developing additional knowledge and skills in this field. The duration of the programs is flexible and determined upon reviewing the applicant’s background and objectives.

ISDS Courses for Dental Assistants and Hygienists Heading link

Several Continuing Education courses, held under the auspices of the Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), are scheduled to be held at the UIC College of Dentistry, 801 S. Paulina St., Chicago, IL 60612. The ISDS is an approved provider of Continuing Education.
