Clinical Activities and Specialties
In addition to her responsibilities to the College, Dr. Organ-Boshes maintains private practice in the north-west Chicago.
Dr. Organ-Boshes has interest in educational research and in advancement of the pre-clinical dental education. Presently she is developing a library of Instructional Videos Demonstrating Fixed Prosthodontics Procedures for dental students. She received the Curriculum and Instructional Grant from the UIC Council for Excellence in Teaching and Learning Grant for her project.
Over the years, Dr. Organ-Boshes has taught in several pre-clinical courses including operative dentistry, occlusion, removable partial and complete denture prosthodontics, and fixed partial prosthodontics. In 2005 as a co-director of the Pre-clinical Complete Denture Course, she was involved with development and implementation of a new patient-based clinically oriented program for the second year dental students. Since 2006, Dr. Organ-Boshes has been the director for the Pre-clinical Fixed Prosthodontics Course. Since 2011, she has been the director of the Licensing Board Examinations at the UIC College of Dentistry. Currently she is also teaching postgraduate residents in the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics.
