Dr. Saad S. AlResayes was born and raised in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In 2012, Dr. AlResayes earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the College of Dentistry- King Saud University including successful completion of six years of comprehensive studies and a one year internship. Upon graduation, Dr. AlResayes received The Ideal Student Award from the College of Dentistry for his academic excellence and clinical performance. Dr. AlResayes’ work experience includes practicing part time in a general practice and two years of participation as a Teaching Assistant in the College of Dentistry- King Saud University. Dr. AlResayes chose to specialize in Prosthodontics to gain the knowledge and skills to manage complex esthetic and implant cases that will improve patients’ quality of life. In his free time, Dr. AlResayes likes to explore the city of Chicago and take photographs of architecture and abstract art.
Dr. Sara Chen was born and raised in Nashua, New Hampshire. She received her B.S. degree in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. She subsequently earned her D.M.D. degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Chen is excited to continue her education at the UIC Advanced Prosthodontics Specialty Program and further her knowledge in treating patients with complex restorative needs.
Dr. Nathaniel Dancykier originally from New York, attended the University Of Maryland School of Dentistry where he received his D.D.S. degree. Dr. Dancykier was awarded the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics Award for Excellence in Prosthodontics from UMSOD upon graduation. He also participated in an Implant Clerkship in his final year of dental school. Dr. Dancykier's interests in dental implantology, esthetics and his determination to deliver the highest quality of treatment to his patients are the driving forces behind his decision to further his education at UIC. Aside from dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
Dr. Ingrid Carolina Herrera was born and raised in Colombia. She earned her DDS degree from the National University of Colombia in 2003, where she remained a dental practitioner for a couple years. In 2005, Dr. Herrera moved to the United States, and attended NOVA Southeastern University, graduating in 2015 with her DMD degree through the International Dentist Degree Program. After graduation, she worked as a general dentist practitioner in Miami for two years. Married, proud mother of twins, she strongly believes in always doing things not just the best she can, but the best they can possibly be done. She also believes that experience alone is not enough, but proper training is absolutely necessary. That is why she decided to further her education in the Prosthodontic field at UIC, the school she is sure can offer her the best training.
Dr. Ashley Nozik is from Rochester, a city in upstate NY. She attended Virginia Tech for undergraduate studies, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Business. After a year in business she decided to pursue dentistry and after graduating attended the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine as a 3rd generation dentist. Dr. Nozik decided to pursue a prosthodontics specialty at UIC because she has always enjoyed the challenges of comprehensive treatment planning and is particularly interested in how technology is enhancing the field of practice. In her free time, she enjoys running, yoga, crafting, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Albert C. Park is from Vancouver, BC Canada. He attended the University of British Columbia where he received his Bachelor of Human Kinetics. After several years in sales and marketing, he decided to further his education at Howard University where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Society. Dr. Park's desire to treat complex cases and provide highly esthetic restorative care has brought him to the UIC Advanced Prosthodontics program. In his free time, he enjoys playing a variety of recreational sports and is an avid ice hockey fan.
Dr. Jesspreet Parmar was born and raised in Southwest Florida. He attended to the University of Florida where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Cell Science. He continued his studies at UF and received his D.M.D in 2015. He decided to pursue specialty training in prosthodontics at UIC to expand his knowledge in complex restorative treatment plans, implant placement and aesthetics. In his free time, Dr. Parmar enjoys spending time with family and friends, skeet shooting, playing video games, and traveling.
Dr. Samira Salari received her DMD from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and joins the UIC Prosthodontics department after a year of general practice residency in a community health center in South Boston. She completed her Bachelor’s degree as well as a Master of Science degree at the University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada. Dr. Salari is excited to advance her skills in dentistry to be able to offer better treatment options to her patients with complex needs. She was born in Tehran, Iran, where she lived for 13 years. She really enjoys traveling and exploring different cultures.
Dr. Adam Ostrand considers the small town of Hinckley, Minnesota home although he grew up across the U.S. and abroad as his mother is in the United States Air Force. Adam graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a B.S. in Biochemistry. He received his D.D.S. from Creighton University School of Dentistry and was awarded with the American College of Prosthodontists “Your Smile our Specialty Award” and the Hanau Excellence in Prosthodontics Award for his outstanding undergraduate achievement in the study of prosthodontics. His drive to deliver the highest quality of care to his patients and his passion for complex treatment lead him to pursue a certificate in Prosthodontics at UIC. He feels the best approach to patient care is treating his patients as a friend. In his spare time he enjoys running, biking, woodworking, occasional motorcycle rides, and golfing.
Dr. Carly Park grew up in Darien, Connecticut. She graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a B.F.A in Studio Art and B.A in Art History. She then received a Graduate Gemology Diploma from the Gemological Institute of America and worked in the jewelry field before starting her career in dentistry. Dr. Park graduated with her D.M.D. degree from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She chose to specialize in Prosthodontics in order to combine her passion for art and medicine with complex restorative and aesthetic treatment and provide the highest quality care for her patients. In her free time, Dr. Park enjoys hiking, traveling, art, and crafts.
Dr. Diana Cuesta was born in Cuba and raised in Miami, Florida. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University where she studied Neurobiology and Italian. She later earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated with clinical honors and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Her interest in comprehensive treatment planning, esthetics and implant dentistry drew her to UIC’s Advanced Prosthodontics Program. Her goal is to provide the most advanced dental care to restore the comfort and confidence of her patients. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Cuesta enjoys traveling, dancing and spending time with her friends and family.
Dr. Joshua Park is from Houston, Texas. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Houston and received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. He was the recipient of the Outstanding Undergraduate Achievement in the Study of Prosthodontics Award from the American College of Prosthodontics at UTSD Houston in 2016. He is attending UIC Prosthodontics to provide the highest quality care for his patients and enjoys exploring Chicago's many attractions in his free time.
Dr. Laura Koo Min Chee grew up in the beautiful Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago. She graduated with honours from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Medical Sciences. Subsequently, she earned her D. M. D degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Koo Min Chee’s commitment to providing the highest quality of care to her patients is the driving force for continuing her educative journey at UIC in the Advanced Prosthodontics Program. She looks forward to advancing her skills in implantology, complex restorative dentistry, esthetics and digital dentistry. Though far from home, Dr. Koo Min Chee is excited to explore Chicago and to contribute her unique Caribbean culture to the UIC Prosthodontic family.
Originally from North Carolina. Dr. Lisa St. Bernard was raised in Connecticut. She completed her B.S. in Biology at University of Connecticut and her D.M.D. from University of Connecticut school of Dental Medicine. There she received an award for her accomplishments in prosthodontics. She was drawn to prosthodontics because of her strong interest in esthetics and creating a healthy and functional smile. Dr. St. Bernard is a proud wife and mother of one.
Originally from Wisconsin, Dr. Zachary Danowit attended Marquette University, where he received his bachelor-degree with a major in History. Afterwards, he attended Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia where he earned his D.M.D. degree. Upon graduation he was awarded the Dentsply International Merit Award in recognition of having completed with distinction the studies of removable prosthodontics. Dr. Danowit gravitated towards Prosthodontics, due to his affinity for prosthetic excellence and his pursuit of the knowledge that would allow him to best serve his patients. In his free time, he enjoys surfing, swimming, biking, and running and competing in local and national triathlons.
Dr. Yale Cho is a Chicagoland native. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a B.A. in Urban Planning and Public Affairs. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago where he received the American College of Prosthodontists Award, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Dental Student Award, and the American Student Dental Association Award of Excellence. Dr. Cho is passionate about providing patients with the highest quality of care. In his free time, he enjoys reading, staying fit, and traveling.
Dr. Christopher Duhn was born and raised in San Francisco, CA. He attended the University of California, Los Angles where he received his bachelor of science in psychobiology. He then continued his education at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry where he earned his D.D.S. degree in 2015, graduating with honors and as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honors Society. Immediately after, he completed a General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia before practicing as a general dentist in Northern California for a year. He is now a part of UIC’s Advanced Prosthodontics program in pursuit of the knowledge and ability to provide the highest level of care toward all his future patients. In his free time, Dr. Duhn enjoys cooking and baking at home as well as mountain biking, shooting archery, and camping outdoors.
Dr. Anthony Gabriel grew up in Anaheim, CA. He received a B.S. In Biological Sciences from University of California, Irvine. He earned his D.M.D. from University of Nevada, Las Vegas and received the UNLV Outstanding Clinical Performance in Fixed Prosthodontics Award upon graduation. Dr. Gabriel practiced general dentistry in the Las Vegas, NV area for three years. Dr. Gabriel is pursuing specialty training to improve his knowledge base and apply that to patient care.
Dr. Shari Ginsburg was born and raised in upstate New York. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, Spanish and Psychology from Indiana University. She attended Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, where she received her D.D.S. degree and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Dr. Ginsburg’s interest in comprehensive restorative care, implant dentistry and esthetics led her to pursue additional training in prosthodontics at UIC College of Dentistry. Outside of dentistry she enjoys, baking, running, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Rokhsareh Hassanzadeh was raised and born in Iran, where she attended medical school for 2 years. After a couple of years studying medicine, she decided to pursue dentistry in United States. Dr. Hassanzadeh received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Georgia State University. And then, she achieved D.M.D degree from University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Her enthusiasm and endeavor in prosthodontics placed her in an outstanding position resulted in receiving the Outstanding Undergraduate Achievement in the Study of Prosthodontics Award from the American College of Prosthodontics at ULSD in 2017 and “best of best awards” from Whip Mix. Her interest in esthetic dentistry and digital dentistry led her to pursue additional training in prosthodontics at UIC advanced program. Outside school, she enjoys CrossFit, yoga, kick boxing.
Dr. James Pizzo was born and raised in Staten Island, New York. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Villanova University, where he also played Ice Hockey. He attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he earned a D.D.S. degree and received the Hanau “Best of the Best in Prosthodontics Award” upon graduation for undergraduate achievement in the study of prosthodontics. He decided to pursue specialty training in Prosthodontics at UIC due to his passion for complex treatment and his desire to provide the highest quality care to his patients. In his spare time, he enjoys relaxing with friends and family, golfing, skiing and playing hockey.
