Continuing Education News

Welcome to the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Dentistry Office of Continuing Education. Our mission is to provide opportunities and to seek partnerships that would allow dentists and dental auxiliaries to expand and improve their knowledge and skills in all areas of dental practice and patient care.
The UIC College of Dentistry is designated as a recognized provider of continuing education by the American Dental Association Continuing Recognition Program (CERP) and the Academy of General Dentistry PACE program.
Individual academic departments are responsible for developing and conducting continuing education activities. The Subcommittee for Continuing Education is the advisory committee for the overall CE program and is responsible for ensuring that individual educational activities developed by departments are in compliance with the ADA CERP Recognition Standards and the Academy of General Dentistry PACE program standards. The committee determines and approves educational activities for appropriate CE credit designation.
