College of Dentistry: News

Get the latest dental knowledge at Clinic and Research Day, set for Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at the College.

For the 23rd year, the College will take on the appearance of a national dental meeting all day, as the event will run from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. All clinics at the College will be closed that day.

There will be close to 100 oral and poster presentations by students and faculty on a variety of clinical and research subjects, awards, and dental products vendors' exhibits. There are events planned just for fun, too--games and a skills competition.

Events will wrap up with presentations of awards in a variety of categories.

This year, there will be more for interested alumni than ever. Alumni will serve as judges, and there will be a special lunch area for alumni. Continuing Education credit will be awarded for attending a selected number of poster presentations and the keynote presentation.
