MOST: Multidisciplinary Oral Science Training

The MOST program at the University of Illinois at Chicago trains students to be a part of the cadre of scientists and clinician scientists that will advance oral health research and practice as well as train future generations of oral health care clinicians. Students pursue interdisciplinary research training in:

Microbiology/immunology

Cancer biology

Wound healing
-
Tissue regeneration

Cellular, molecular, and development biology; biomaterials science; microbiology/immunology

Other biomedical field relevant to oral disease and health.

In order to increase the number of clinical and translational scientists who can respond to the changing needs of the population, the program integrates the PhD, DDS, and MS in Clinical and Translational Science degree programs for predoctoral and postdoctoral trainees.

The program currently is accepting applications for predoctoral and postdoctoral trainee positions.
