Research Faculty Member Profile
    • Tianquan Jin, PhD
    • Research Assistant Professor

    • Research Interests:
    • Visit the Brodie Laboratory for Craniofacial Genetics
    • Enamel evolution and development. Dr. Jin and his colleagues have been asking the question how the amelogenin gene has evolved in vertebrates. Using this evolutionary medicine approach, they are using enamel evolution as a model to understand mechanisms of enamel formation and use this knowledge for enamel tissue regeneration.
