Dr. Qian Xie
Dr. Qian Xie comes from Chengdu, China, and attended Sichuan University, earning a DDS and PhD in 2005. In 2009, Dr. Xie was conferred the Young Investigator Award from the AADR and also was awarded Second Place for her poster on Geriatric Oral Science at the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) meeting in Miami in 2009. Dr. Xie’s areas of research interests include root caries and biofilm formation and detachment. Qian is married and enjoys swimming. Dr. Xie plans to go into research, education, and private practice upon completion of the program.
