
Dr. Nermeen M. Moussa
Dr. Nermeen M. Moussa comes from Egypt and is a resident of Kuwait. She attended Kuwait University, earning a Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree in 2003. In 2006, Dr. Moussa graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, Kuwait University, with her BDM. From 2006 to 2007, Dr. Moussa did an Internship Training Program with the Ministry of Health in Kuwait. In 2007, Dr. Moussa attended a Fellowship in Endodontics at the University of Florida. Dr. Moussa earned Academic Distinction Awards for the years 2000 to 2006 from Kuwait University and earned Dean's List Awards for Outstanding Academic and Clinical Performance in 2006. Also in 2006, Dr. Moussa was awarded the International Association for Dental Research (IADR)/Unilever Travel Award by the IADR in Brisbane, Australia. In 2005, she received the "Best Research Presentation" Award for the IADR Hatton Award-African and Middle East Division of IADR. Dr. Moussa's research interests include lasers in Endodontics, tissue regeneration, and diagnostic techniques. Nermeen's outside interests include volleyball, swimming, and traveling. Dr. Moussa plans to achieve board certification in Endodontics and pursue clinical practice, as well as contributing to dental education by teaching and research upon completion of the program.
