Welcome to the Univeristy of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry website for predental students! The College of Dentistry has a commitment to all predental students to be a source of helpful information. Furthermore, the College of Dentistry is committed to increasing the recruitment, enrollment, and retention of students with a special interest in community based practice and the provision of care to children and the underserved. To fulfill this commitment, the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and the Illinois Children’s Healthcare Foundation are collaborating to develop and support the Illinois Pre-Dental Consortium (IPDC). The purpose of the consortium is 2-fold: To connect Illinois pre-dental students on a state-wide level with the goal of sharing resources and interests, and most importantly, collaborating on efforts to increase pre-dental mentoring; and to educate pre-dental students on oral health disparities in the state and to increase access to care for children in Illinois.
