At the College of Dentistry’s November 16th Centennial Gala the establishment of the Dr. Bruce S. and Linda M. Graham Scholarship Fund was announced as a surprise retirement gift for the departing Dean and his wife. The endowed scholarship fund will perpetually benefit UIC dental students starting in 2014. The Scholarship has been seeded with $61,000 raised in the weeks before the Gala.

“Linda and I never dreamed there would be an endowed scholarship in our names—what a truly wonderful gift,” Bruce said. Linda agreed and said, “My secret wish to assist students with financial commitments has been realized thanks to the generous donations of so many people.”

The College continues to accept donations and pledges for the Dr. Bruce S. and Linda M. Graham Scholarship Fund. The fundraising goal is $100,000, which will benefit students and honor Bruce’s and Linda’s legacy.
