The College of Dentistry’s 27th annual Clinic and Research Day is Thursday, March 6, 2014, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The daylong event includes student research presentations, awards, and keynote speaker Dr. Richard W. Valachovic, President and Chief Executive Officer of the American Dental Education Association.
“Our students and fellows will present 100-plus posters highlighting current research covering a wide range of topics in the basic, behavioral, clinical, and applied sciences” said Dr. David L. Crowe, Interim Associate Dean for Research at the College of Dentistry.
Also featured are “CaseCAT” (Critically Appraised Topics) competitions, featuring actual cases exemplifying unique and interesting aspects of dental practice combined with relevant critically appraised literature reviews.
Additionally there will be dental products and services, vendors’ exhibits, and events planned just for fun. Dr. Crowe welcomes “dentists, students, postgraduates, residents, our medical colleagues, and those interested in research and the vendors’ exhibits to attend.”
Continuing Education credits are available. More information is available online at Clinic Research Day.
